The first update from Ainol's Official release the new firmware 627 is here at last! After installing the tablet is more stable and there are less chances for the tablet to freeze unexpectedly.

There have been some cases that the tablet is unable to enter into second boot screen after installing firmware627. if this does happen to your machine, you'll need to apply this method which was provided by Ainol:
First you'll need:
(1) USboot 1.7/
(2) MicroSD card (at least 512MB space available)
(3) The image file Novo8 firmware (Novo8_Update.img)

This process is to turn your MicroSD card into a boot disk for your Novo8, which can force it to reboot again.
